My head chef started with Marco Pierre White (when he had 2 Michelin stars) the same year that Gordon Ramsey did when they were both just starting out in their early twenties. When Ramsey left to head up Aubergine he draughted my Head Chef in to help him - they got a star in the first year. He then went to the Dorchester and The Savoy (both in London) followed by a succesion of 1 and 2 star places.
He likes me!
I know I can be a right arrogant bastard sometimes but I feel pretty god damn pleased with myself.
I am great though!!
