While I'm doing laundry, cleaning, deciding what to pack, ecc., I decided I'd better figure out how I'm getting to the station as well. :P
With the help of google and Montebello buslines, I have figured out a workable plan:
--Take 10 to Montebellow Blvd.--take 20 to Garvey Ave.--walk to N. Santa Anita Ave.--turn right towards Rush st.--(if you pass the 10 you've gone the wrong way and if you hti Tyler Ave. you've gone too far).
The stop on Garvey is two blocks away from a Golf Course, and several blocks past the other side of that is the station. It shouldn't be too far to walk. The only problem would be getting from the 10 to the 20. I don't know how far the nearest stop is along Whittier Blvd, but the 20's route crosses its where Montebello and Whittier meet.
Either way, I'm feeling more confident about it. Now I just need to get one of my fives exchanged into ones for the bus and make sure I'm able to carry my stuff. So, I shouldn't be carrying too terribly much home with me, as I don't want to be weighted down.
So, need to do my laundry, clean a bit (I cleaned last week, so I should only have to tidy up a bit). Make sure what I'm not taking is stored away, and decide what is *absolutely* necessary to take with me. (Clothes and books should be more than enough to carry).
Then, checkout at 8 tomorrow, taking off and hopefully at the station by 10.
I won't stop being anxious until I'm that bus takes off with me and I'm firmly on my way to Sacramento. :P

On the bus ride, I won't really have music, and those seats aren't comfortable enough for sleeping, so I have a *ton* of books to read. Also, I *love* watching scenery pass. This is what shows I have never gone *anywhere*, in that even rocks and grass look exciting to me.
When I get in Sacramento around midnight, Heather'll be picking me up. (I wanted to visit
ellizen, but I didn't write down his address and he hasn't IMed me back). Then, I assume, I'll be back home, but the next day I want to go visit Crystal and get my check cashed. Then I'll see about getting to Aunt Linda's either Sunday or Monday.
Monday and Wednesday I'll be visiting Choices and all the folks there.
Friday I need to find a way to get to
unwoman's concert.
Oh, and get some way to get together with
hikari_leowhile I'm in the area.
And hang out and visit whoever and whatever and wherever else I can think of. And get lots of reading and writing done.
I'll LJ again prolly when I'm at my sister's or stop by a library. Stay tuned.
