While You Read

For Michael Osman, beloved storkman

I ask you to read aloud from
your book on revolutionaries,
and you oblige me, the gentle

Really? Wait. Aren't you some kind of editor? Or was that just of science-y things...?

Well, no need to be speechless with admiration. I'm flesh and bone just like you. And not that talented, really. (Okay, I am; but one has to temper one's cockiness with realism, right?)

I dunno; enough people seem to like my work enough that I know I have an audience. And whoever judged the Newsom obviously liked it. *shrug*

I am in science and I edit. ^_^

I wish I had the skill to express how the poem affects me, how it *feels* to read it and see through your eyes, but it is difficult. Much easier to polish someone else's work.

One day I will say, I knew him when he was but a 21 y o ;-)

Gee, how's it feel to have someone AGE YOU by one year? Thank God I don't know how that feels. :)

Ah, this is the assitude you were talking of? ;P

Lucky for you I know you're a real softie in truth, buster...

But again, it wouldn't matter to either of us if you were 46 of 76... we're still gonna intellectually double-team you, you sexy mo-fo. ;D
