Tonight was the first of two nights I will be working the concession stand during the intermission for my school's run of "Twelfth Night". I volunteered in the hopes that, if my face becomes familiar to them, I'll stand a better chance in the future for next time I audition, try to get into Intro to Acting, etc. One may call this unnecessary, but from what I've heard and seen, any edge a freshmen can get is extremely helpful, as they tend to only cast the large roles for the same group of people.
(As to what little I saw of the play itself--the Olivia was more slutty than noble; the Viola was actually good, as was the Jester, and the Orsino was suitably hammy in a competent sort of way.)
What's interesting, though, is that Saturday I will be working with one Toma Felix-Neal who... well, if he's the same person I *think* he is, then let's just say we'll definitely have one thing in common that'll make a great ice-breaker! *laughs evily*
