So, I oversleep, and run over to the Deihl basement fifteen minutes late for my French midterm, but I'm glad I studied so hard with Ashley, because I managed to finish it right on time. I think I did well on it; I don't think Chirol is gonna go, "oh, mon dieu! This is the best midterm EVAH!" Though it'd be funny if she did. But I think I definitely got close to a 100... or at least above a 90. XD
Anywho, in news that makes me ecstatic beyond words,
unwomane-mailed me the mp3 for "The Little Mermaid". *dies joyously* So, as promised, that's getting play on this week's show. Actually, it fits perfectly with my female singer-songwriter theme. Actually, this song is inspiring me to try and write my own version of that fairy-tale... oh my, a scary thought. Remember
"Serenade"? That was originally a retelling of "The Nightingale". Yeah. XP
(I was gonna link the post of it from nearly a year ago--
szandararemembers it--but I've rewritten it since then, and I'm trying to retrieve it right now. The word processor on my computer was some weird ODT thing that won't open on any other computer--I e-mailed all my stuff to my gmail, I think, so I'll see if it's there. But it prolly *is* the old version. Blech. Didn't I print it out somewhere. Damn. If I just had a working mouse for my computer I could go and save it as an rtf, which is what I did with all my poems, but not this one! DX)
EDIT: ((I linked it anyway. :P)))
