217: Brain-Drained Update...

I just got back from an intense two and a half hour session with Ashley, reviewing *everything* we've covered in French so far. We'd better ace that midterm tomorrow!

Currently, I have to do yet another revision of my composition (in French) to turn in tomorrow. I don't even know for American Intellectual and Cultural History. Supposed to have notes for reading in Edwards and Franklin, but I don't have shit, so let's hope my good midterm score will leven the balance of missed points I'm sure that absence of notes will cause. (I have other notes, plenty of notes, just not all the ones I should...XD OH well...XP)

I started reading "The Poisonwood Bible" again. Eve's right; it is very consuming--in a good way. Not a masterpiece, but very wonderful. My companion to that is "One Hundred Years of Solitude" until I can get "Wings for the Kingdom". 'Cause a girl needs some fun books to leven out all this deeper stuff! (Of course, the fact that Kingsolver and Marquez are my *light* reading oughta tell you something about my temperment, but never mind... We're doing Beloved right now in class, and I can't wait to get my girl Denver out there and beat that bitch Sethe to the curb! Woot!)
