So, I just wanted to let you know, Jer, that nothing horrible has happened to me. I've just been soooo busy... like, the last two weeks, I've gotten more done than I have in my entire life, almost.
Well, that is what happens when you're taking five classes and are the President of Ye Olde Gender Club... and, um, copy editor and a writer on the student magazine, of which your roommate is Co-Editor-in-Chief, and what with living all the way up on the hill, you end up not going back to the dorm until he does.
Oh, and I got promoted to manager of the language lab, which means I am kind of, erm, the lab monitors boss, and need to hire a bunch more to fill in the gaping holes in our schedule...*collapses*
At least my classes are fun. But my schedule is just absolutely crazy, and I'm still struggling to make time for everything. Didn't succeed so well this week.
Oh, and running around, trying to figure out my major and all that jazz, 'cause now that I'm taking Linguistics, and I see Sean Morris every day practically (he's been guest lecturing on Beowulf for my English survey class)--obviously, it has the most to do with what I want to study, so it's very much at the fore-front of my mind.
Oh, and the copy-editing just frazzles me brain. A dozen people's thoughts and stuff going through there multiple times. Makes me crazy.
Also, since I got back, I seem to have developed this terrible habit of talking to myself, constantly. It's as if I can't think silently anymore--even in my sleep. Taylor (the roomie) is mostly cool, though. Kinda surly... but that's a story for another time...
Anywho, post 500. Wow. I was originally gonna say something about looking where I was at post 100, and where I'll be at post 1000, and all that. But you can see that pretty clearly. I mean, here I am, starting the intense part of my college career... at the rate I'm going with this, I'll hit 1000 around the time I'm a senior. Should be intresting.
Oh, and I may or may not update you on *all* of what's been going on. *shrug* Hopefully I will get back into the habit of this--helps me think more silently and relieve stress; definitely necessary these days! ^_^
