sun goes down
Wow its 5:20 am and I decided to post on my livejournal.
My thoughts are wicked scattered right now, but it doesn't really matter because my livejournal is a joke.
First off, I can't get over the fact that one of my best friends, since the beginning of Jr. high, is now gone. I know we're gonna be able to see BS again, but the fact that he all of a sudden has to pack up and ship out right in the beginning of the summer is kinda surreal. Not like he didn't sign up for it, but now he has to grow up real fast.
Okay, now as for me.. I went to the beach on Monday (long overdue) and the water was so warm it was amazing, so amazing that I got sunburned despite wearin the sunscreen. I took a picture of my redness but it's so crazy you can only see it in person.
I just got a sick CD (first I've actually paid for in a long time) and lo and behold its more electronic music..
MIDIval Punditz - 'Midival Times', its a really interesting release from the two men who pretty much pioneered the underground electronic music scene in New Dehli, possibly all of India. Their first cd, which I already have, is full of alot of chill beats laced with wonderful vocals, but this new album is more like club music.
2nd Sem grades.. B+ in Calc and French, B in Gov, and C+ in Chem, barely missed honor roll :(
it's okay though, I'm currently in planning phases for exploding my report card.
oh yeah, and I'm going to the AllGood Music Festival in 3 weeks, wicked excited to see the Flaming Lips among others
