Book trailers are evil. I was pretty excited to read Caitlin Kiernan‘s latest when it I heard she was writing it, but the damn book trailer has brought me THISCLOSE to breaking my Unread Bookshelf vow.

Which, uh, I kind of already did, last week - by accident! I bought Paula Gunn Allen’s The Woman Who Owned the Shadows, thinking it was a collection of poetry, only to realize it’s a novel. Too late! But it was totally unintentional so it doesn’t count. (#rationalization)

But still, I’m exerting all my self-control not to buy The Drowning Girl RIGHT NOW. Maybe I’ll start re-reading The Red Tree to try and satisfy my Kiernan craving.
