Did I mention that my nose was on fire? That I have fifteen wild badgers living in my trousers?

  • Babylon 5 Season 3 is love.
  • Marcus! ::huggles Marcus::  Jason Carter is one of the few actors in the show who can make JMS's sense of humor actually funny.
  • I wonder what it says about tea_drinker77 and me, that Bablyon 5 is our comfort food. We abandoned our favorite season of Buffy (Season 5), because the Joyce storyline is too close to the bone for us now; but it's not like B5 is fuzzy wuzzy escapist fluff. I guess it's about people overcoming the odds, and we're both feeling pretty embattled right now. But we don't turn to something like Battlestar Galactica; I guess because we really love the characters in B5. BSG is damn good sci fi, but the characters generally leave me cold.
  • It's a real credit to Andreas Katsulas' acting and JMS writing that G'Kar can transition from Dodgy!G'Kar to Enlightened!G'Kar and have it be totally believable.
  • Although it's awful convenient that Enlightened!G'Kar is still willing to do some arms-dealing for Team B5. Weren't they all making disapproving noises about that in the early seasons?
  • It's funny, I like the Sheridan/Delenn relationship, but I don't really ship it.
  • Possibly because they have their first present-time kiss when Delenn shows him the fleet of White Stars. Kinda creepy guys.
  • Our Babylon 5 drinking game is developing nicely. It's almost too easy with this show.
  • I think I may have to include a requirement to drink every time you find yourself saying, "OMG I love [Character X]!" Which is something I invariably do every single episode. I can't help it!
  • Season 3 really shows how Vir and Londo are wonderful foils for each other. Vir's stammering, humble courage makes Londo's fall even more tragic.
  • There are some really great lines in Season 3: "Well, as my great grandfather used to say: 'Cool.'"
  • The Garibaldi--Franklin bromance is just WIN. Like, not only am I actually interested in it (a feat in itself), I actually care about those two crazy kids working it out. That's how bromance should be done, Hollywood. Take notes.
  • Zathras really, really shouldn't work, but he so does. ::Zathras love:: Zathras could kick Neelix's butt any day.
  • We've started Season 4, so expect more B5 ramblings in future.

babylon 5, life with tea drinker, geekiness
