The Tour de.....Place
So yesterday I got the bright idea to just take a load off and hit Fleming....with the aid of the bus. I figure I should get used to riding it, as it'll be my main mode of transportaion during the year....MUCH cheaper to use it at $180 a semester rather than the $180 a month I'd spend on my own vehicle and parking.
So I ran into Heidi at the bus station working security there....what a sweet gig that must be, if for nothing else, standing around in the shade.
But yeah, out to Fleming I rode, half-whistling "Magic Bus" on the way. Got there, did some boring administration stuff, then went to the caf for a bit, pulled out the Lappy, installed Office, dicked around with Word to make sure it was working alright, then packed it all up and took a walk to the Wellness Centre. And holy crap was it ever a walk. So long....I'm kinda dreading what it will be like in the winter.
But I got there and WOW! WOW! AND WOW! This place is immaculate, or at the very least is that way compared to the ghetto excuse for a gym they have at Trent. Particularly the weights....everything I could want - stationary bike, ergometers, treadmills, bench press, butterfly curls....HEAVEN! A nice setup like that will DEFINETLY do wonders for my desired amount of workouts in a week (hoping for at least 3 a week, ideal would be at the end of every day after class, schedule permitting)
