Free Concert!!

Every summer Galway hosts an arts festival that brings in scores of performers from all around the world. Last night one of my favorite musicians, David Gray, put on a concert in Galway, but because his tickets were rather costly (45 euro), I didn't buy one. But did that stop me from listening to him? Absolutely not!

He played a small concert under a circus tent sort of thing last night right near campus, so after the opening act was finished, me and a few of my housemates crept onto campus right near the tent and listened to his entire show! It was so much fun. I listened to him play every song that I could have asked him to play, and I was so happy that I didn't have to pay a single cent to do so. You all know how invigorating listening to a live show can be, but to be outside and in Ireland made this experience all the more better. So while I technically did not SEE David Gray, I without a doubt enjoyed his concert tremendously.

Hope you all are doing well and are avoiding the heat as much as you can! (if this makes you feel any better, it got so hot in Ireland this week that it broke the record that was set back in 1853!)

peace-
