i'm rational. it's hard to tell if i'm happy in your arms. i didn't want to prove you stupid...i wanted to show that there are things you trust and things you don't. how easy it was for you to trust a--a ghost. a flittering spirit telling you i was a liar. and yet i sit and violently bash my empty, hollow heart onto the table telling you the truth, and i go. go go go go go. i tell you the truth and go. that unbroken ring you only may give in vain, i do not have. cannot clasp my hand around. i WOULD love you. love is a knowledge and appreciation. you learned about them. you've studied for a test you'll never take. an awe and admiration. what else do you need?
