Double Dance Weekend
Haha, at last I am clean.
Show Chorus was at YABC today, which was a bit embarrassing because most of Company knew someone from Show Chorus and it was one big happy reunion for everyone except the four newbies who stood to one side and watched everyone else ;) Until Petro said; "So guys - long time, no see!" Which I thought was a bit too funny. Karla gets more gorgeous every week, I swear. Her hair changes colour in the light. My heart burns with jealously, until we move on to the ever present subject of braces (Petro just got some) and I can proudly sit in silence projecting the fact that I have absolutely nothing to add to the conversation.
It's a cruel world.
Josh did NOT bring in his enormous box of jelly babies! And I brought money especially. I also left my jacket at the college, but don't tell my mum *shhhh!*
I wrote to Vicky Mitman today, though not too sure whether I should expect a reply. I'm not even sure where she is!! I'm cleaning out my address book, so if anyone wants to tell me I can delete one of their addresses, now is the time!! Kate, I have at least three entries under your name with different address.
I also tidied up my room just now (gosh, haven't I been busy?) but there's still piles of computer software (TIDY piles, mind) on the floor from when I was doing packing yesterday and wasn't sure whether THIS should go on top of THIS or whether THAT should go first and so forth. I'm only good at this packing malarky when it comes to books and papers. I have a SYSTEM. Do not mess with the system.
Well, where in the midst of all this was there revision? There was some, just not a lot :( Mum and Alice went to play tennis after I came back from YABC, whereupon I shoved in a DVD of Fraisier and a tub of lemon sorbet out of the fridge. I meant to put the stupid tub away before they came back.... well anyway, while I was watching I did some learning of French vocab. Grammaire does not phase me. Vocabulaire, on the other hand...
And OH Fuck, HP Standing just came onto the randomizer. I never thought I'd say it but I'm starting to get sick of my own voice.
On the Evanesco front, not much news, I'm afraid. It's very, very hard to write the thoughts of someone under the influence of the Imperius curse, do you know that? I will try to do more during music tomorrow :D
