THE DAY

Ok - today was THE DAY of the excursion to Latrobe Uni to be the audience in Saturday Night Darren and Brose.

Sitting comfortably?

I realised about the excursion at like - midnight, last night, so I got up at twenty past six, hopped on the internet and straight to mymlc to check we were still on for the trip. Of course even THAT wasn't as simple as it sounded because all the pommies were online as well as Michelle who is like, some breed of Vampire. So talktalktalk until seven when I finally decide to get dressed.

(The deciding took a while, as well.)

Anyway, at school had science and english in the library, both of which I did absolutely no work in, and then we hopped on the bus, I had to sit in a double seat by myself because I'm such a complete Larry, and three quarters of an hour later we were waiting impatiently outside the studio door.

And we didn't even go INTO the studio until we'd watched 'the making of' and had the tour of the editing studios. The making of vid was really good though - we watched bits of the last episode, including the joke:

Darren: Apparently Eminem wants to buy Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch. So look at the situation - we've got a black man pretending to be a white man selling his house to a white man pretending to be a black man!

which was less funny after the first three times. And then Brose himself came into the veiwing room and stood on the table. (SO surpised he didn't squish it. Cos he's a bit large.) And made us all come through. And then he lectured us in a decidedly comic way about the proper way to clap. "You think it's easy," he said. "But it's NOT."

Darren spent ages coming out of his dressing room and Brose got fake-pissed-off. Now compared to Brose, Darran is a DREAM. But I think I'd prefer Brose, cos he's funnier.

Anyway, show commenced, more slightly cheap jokes, special guests, sketches, and the song by Man Bites God entitled "Does the Pope ever get an erection?" which was just LAUGH FODDER for me.

We had to stop a couple of times because of sound problems - and the fact that Darren introduced the wrong thing. But OMG the funniest thing happened: Brose started talking to us about public transport, and Becca asked him to guess what tram she used to go to school, and he said he didn't know, and she replied, and I quote:

"69 - both ways!"

HILARITY.

FF.NET IS STILL DOWN!!!!!!!!! WOTISDADEAL????
