The Loss of the Anvil
An enormous weight has been lifted off my chest. I phoned Mr. Northey. I. Was. TERRIFIED. But then my professionality took over and I was talking to him like an adult (!) so but that standard I must have been acting ;) But he was nice and nice and nice and he said the week is an exam period but that's ok and he's really looking forward to meeting me and YAY! Of course, I still need to do the paperwork but that'll be so much easier with the filled in sheet of paper sitting beside me. University of Melbourne, Music Faculty, 3010. *dances in ecstasy* I am over the moon!
On the downside, I have French and Science homework. Pooey. And there's parent teacher tonight. Ms DiSipio had to cancel due to illness, but that's ok cos it was the last one so it just means we don't have to stay for so long :D. So I must shower and get changed.
Morning's Entry in Soft Journal:
Tis autumn indeed. I got up an hour too early due to DST, spent an hour attempting to get up and then having to go back to bed due to being fully awake at 6:00 am. Grr. Then when we got to the busstop it poured with rain and the bus was late. So I spent twenty minutes at the busstop standing in the downpour and got SOAKED. Water even got into my laptop but it seems to be ok. I had to get a latepass, but I was happy when I got to school. I didn't feel quite so homesick anymore!
Edit: Plus, Caitlin is back in school, even if she can't come to the Mads excursion, the rehearsal for which was cancelled today... grr. But all is good, and my voice is getting better. Rejoice for me.
