ONE SWEET DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have such mixed feelings about this song.
Last night was UNBELIEVABLE. In a BAD way. We took Misha for a walk (that's me, Alice and Mum). Fine? No. When we got to the end she ran off and wouldn't come back. We spent literally an HOUR AND A HALF trying to catch her, using every trick in the book, including these boys who were having some kind of a camp out who felt like helping. In the end we actually had to go home and get food bribes, and then come back. Even this wasn't as simple as it sounds because we ran out of petrol and had to fill it up from my dad's lawnmower (after ringing him in his hotel in ENGLAND to ask if it was ok). Eventually the food got her, which is weird because she normally doesn't respond to bribes. But by this time it was PITCH BLACK, so we were all wandering around the park with torches and everything. And by the time we got home it was too late to make dinner, so we ended up ordering pizza and watching Mary Poppins on the Disney channel, until that finished and we watched Homeward Bound II, which is like the total opposite of what we'd just been through. Also, it was wet and my trousers got ruined from jumping to catch her and falling on the ground. She's in so much trouble, no one's talking to her or anything.
ANYWAY. Tidied my room this morning, first-day-of-holidays ritual. Well technically today's the second day, but I had YABC yesterday so it didn't count.
I HATE Anything Goes. The song. Blow Gabriel is actually quite fun, now. As is.. SPAM-A-LOT! We get to be in the opening, which just happens to be KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE. So bad, but so so fun.
Anyway, my mum said that if I did more than tidy and actually got rid of some of the clothes I don't wear anymore, then I might be able to get NEW things! So I got rid of about half my wardrobe 0_o. Holidays make me high!! High-eee! Then later we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory, which was moderately awesome :D I miss Gene Wilder, though. And the old Varuca Salt, who was a lot more believable and hateable. If that's even a word, and if that's how you spell it. I don't know whether I approve of the added-in-Wonka-family-angst. I'll think about it.
One of the film ads before the movie started was for Goblet of Fire. It just made me laugh (as well as fume, which goes without saying). He flies out of the lake. Like a flying fish. And does a little sumersault thingy. And there was this bit at the end, I have no idea what was happening, but he did his little scream thing. "Ahhhhh-h." And Dumbledore of course with his 'COMPETITION!' attitude. "THE WINNER WILL HAVE FAME AND GLORY!! HOGWARTS WILL TOTALLY WIN!! WE ROCK!" And.. and.. if I went on about everything I would have a coronary, but whoever drags me along to see this one (kicking and screaming, I might add) just better WATCH OUT. Because when I'm not sobbing in fury, I'm going to be laughing my HEAD off.
And I think that's enough capitals for one day, so I'm just about done. Except I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, any ideas?
