And anyway, by the time I started watching TV, I was a bit beyond the age of Disney movies being the norm... and I have watched a couple!

Not really intereseted in star wars...

Because the word 'Jedi', in the mind of anyone, even someone who has never watched one, should immediately spark the knowledge that a Star Wars Movie is being discussed. That's like me saying the words 'Harry Potter' and you not having at least the slightest idea of what I'm talking about.
