I think that I finally understand this band after seeing them live. When someone you love wrongs you it hurts way more than if a stranger were to do it. These guys love America so much that they feel passionately about the wrongs that it has commited. If America was far better than it is now and it was praised the world over, they would still be pushing the country to be better. I think that is pretty cool.
"None of the candidates that are running for president are progressive enough for what we need." So, celebrate when Bush is out of office on January 20th, but it will be bitter sweet. Keep pushing your views and never quit. - That was their closing message.
They didn't have their real drummer so a lot of the songs sounded the same. But, it is punk rock! Nothing could kill that scene (apparently even massive popularity). It was a great show!
