I'm down the Cape....again. So, I brought a laptop....again. This time, it's my Mum's laptop.
I haven't really done anything lately, except watch the Olympics. I finished work, so I don't hafta wake up at the butt crack of dawn anymore. I'm on cruise control until it's time to go back to school.
Speaking of school, I'm actually kind of excited of going back. I miss campus a bit. And the endless supply of food, even though I eat for free at home. There's just way more food at UMass. And friends, a lot of them. The 25-year old roommate thing doesn't bother me as much anymore. He actually seems pretty cool.
Oh! I'm going to see The Who. The mutha fuckin' Who! I've said before that the band I'd most like to see live is The Who. Even though Keith Moon and John Entwistle are dead, I'm still pumped. Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey after all, duhh. LOL, LJ spell check suggested "Thistledown" when I typed "Entwistle." Silly LJ. But yeah, The Who, October 24th, at the Garden. Pretty sweet.
I don't really get the big deal about Misty May-Trainer and Kerry Walsh, the U.S. women's beach volleyball team. I mean, they're alright.
Four years ago, Michael Phelps was younger than me. And he won seven medals, five of them gold. And he has five more gold medals this year, and a chance for three more. He doesn't make me feel like a failure at all. I'm probably funnier than he is though, so I have that going for me.
I've listened to this song so much tonight on youtube. I should DL it soon.
