This past weekend was awesome. It started with my Dad picking me, Ashley, and Ryan up at UMass and driving us home. We listened to Guster on shuffle and it was great cause I heard some songs I never heard before. When I got home, I showered and ate and then walked to the Square to meet Ryan and Shawn. We ate at Rosa's and it was delicious. After that, Ryan went to his house and me and Shawn walked to my house. We took roundabout ways to get there. When we got there, we watched a Red Sox DVD and then the Red Sox game. Ryan came and Ashley soon followed. We ordered pizza from Coach's and then want on the comuters. Thank God for youtube. After, people left and I slept in my own bed. It felt good.
Next day, I woke up and did some stuff. I can't even remember what I did. At some point, Max and Erica arrived at my house and we walked to the Square, where we met Ryan, Shawn, and Catherine. We went to Rosa's again, but I only took fries from people. We then went to Ryan's house to watch the Red Sox game. Lucia came. Me, Ryan, and Lucia then walked to my house to get the Guster tickets and a ride to Wellington Station. We picked up Ashley, rode the train, subtly stared at a woman with a beard, and got off at Downtown Crossing. We bought raffles, got free drinks, worte to our senators, and got free ice cream (it was so good). We went to our seats and waited for the show to start. The Format came on and they were pretty good. Man, there must've been 100 screaming girls right in front of the stage. It made me want to be a rock star. Then....GUSTER! They played a Sportscenter type introduction video and they came running through a sign that said, "Guster Is #1." Almost as good as the Segways. They started with my favorite Guster song. They were fucking awesome. Better than last time, I think. They walked off stage while the crowd sang "Two Points For Honesty" and then came back to do the rest of the song. Then, they gave their second encore to Bob Saget. They had us chant "Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob" and then, lo and behold, Bob Saget walks through a giant sign and waved to the crowd. He then left. Guster finished up their last set. They even played "One Man Wrecking Machine" this time 0_0. We got more free drinks and then rode home. I slept in my bed. Amazing.
I woke up and just shat around. I listened to the Satellite EP that I bought at the show. My parents like Guster, which is cool. Ryan picked me up and we talked and listened to Guster some more. When I got to my building, the Hill was covered with people. I've never seen it that full. I pooped around my room, played catch with Ryan and Curtis, ate dinner, worked on homework with Ashley, and watch the Red Sox game. Manny, J.D., Lowell, and Tek....I love you all. Four straight home runs. It was fucking incredible. I went back to my room and finished homework and went to bed. I didn't put my sheets back on. It was actually more comfortable with just the comforter, hence the name.
That was my weekend forgot to do something....oh well. I'll do it eventually.
Oh and Isaac, your picture of that poopy dumpy made me popular....kinda.
