I was posting a comment on Alex's livejournal when I decided to paraphrase it as my own post, since I don't write in here often enough.
I don't mind Valentine's Day even though I'm very very single.
And I don't think it's as lame as everyone makes it out to be, because if some people need that push to express their love, then so be it.
Jesus is my valentine this year, and boy have I been expressing it! And sometimes, although thankfully not today, I DO need an extra push to express it as much as I should. You'd think being loved by the King of the Universe wouldn't be able to go unexpressed, but sometimes (silly me!) I get carried away into Andrea-land (or the committee in my head as Rob likes to call it).
So I sympathize with everyone who needs Valentine's Day as a reminder.
And for any of you who are feeling sad and lonely, give me a call. Because I really like sharing my valentine with people. (I am just THAT selfless!)
