(no subject)
Hello, livejournal.
- Back at Geer Park, coexisting peacefully with the kids for the most part. Laying down the law when needed, selling gimps, bracelets, and blow-pops like I'm a drug dealer. It's good and tiring. Pictures to come, I'm sure.
- New White Stripes album gets a big thumbs up from me. Also going to see them live in Chicago in October, which is fantastic. Saw Spoon and the Polyphonic Spree; great shows both, particularly the Spree.
- Been biking around a good amount. Doctors have decided that my stomach pains are muscle cramp type things, which basically means "stop whining and suck it up." Which sucks because they still really hurt sometimes. Oh well?
- OCB suuuuuuucks
- Saw the 5th Harry Potter in theaters last night. Could have been a lot better. I'm beginning to wish that this whole endeavor would have been taken more seriously and they would have given the movies the treatment the books deserve. If somebody took it upon themselves to film all the movies exactly as the books are regardless of time and money, that would be unbelievably wonderful. But...the 7th book comes out next Friday. I honestly can't believe the end is here. And yes, the drama is well-earned. I took off work that Friday and Saturday to devote those precious hours to the conclusions I've been considering for years now. NOT EXAGGERATING, KTHXBAI
- Not ready to return to school and take on my RA duties. One more month. Yikes!
- Thoroughly enjoying seeing people. Will I see you?
