Document a day
Last time I did one of these was Christmas Eve, so I thought it was about time I do another one.
This is my September 5th, 2011. First day of uni for the semester, and my first day in my new major! (I switched from Social Work to Library and Information Science.)
Good morning! I get up, and this is the time:
It's +17C/63F. Not too bad.
I make my bed.
I pull up the blinds and this is what I see. The weather's kinda grey.
I turn my computer on and play some music. ♥
Twitter time!
I then venture across the hall to the kitchen to get some breakfast, which I return to my room with.
Sims Social on Facebook entertains me while I eat.
When the porridge is gone, I drink my coffee and work on a chapter of a fic I'm writing.
I learn a fun new fact, and admit that I thought "Häagen-Dazs" was German. haha
Time check! Better get moving.
Ready to go!
I get to campus. This building is my new "home".
Introduction to Library and Information Science for two hours. My new class seems good. Suprisingly many guys.
Get out of class at this hour.
This is the building I just walked out of, my new "home" again.
...and instead I walk into this building, which is my old home on campus!
I go to the library.
Make my way through the downstairs stacks...
...to my favorite part of campus. A little slice of heaven. This is where they keep the children's/youth's books. Some from as far back as the 1800's.
I get the book I need to finish a Creative Writing assignment.
I decide to walk around campus for a bit while I text some of my old classmates, asking if they're on their way to uni since they wouldn't have their first class until after lunch.
I got a hold of my friends and they told me what room their class was gonna be in, so I hung around and waited for them to get there.
Former classmates! I snuck in with them and sat in on their lecture the first hour.
When they got a coffee break, I went with them to a cafe on campus that has a very high ceiling. There I met a girl who just moved out of my dorm, so I stuck around and talked to her for a bit while my friends went back to their class.
I turn my iPod on. My Chemical Romance sings me home. ♥
My route to and from uni.
Almost home! This is my building.
I take the elevator up to my floor.
Unlock my dorm.
Home! I like my room. n_n
Another time check. I got home at 2:30pm.
I go back on Twitter. My computer screen is dusty as all hell. >_>
Pottermore! I brew a potion. If any of you are on Pottermore but aren't friends with me there: add me, I'm RiverMoon190.
I'm hungry, so I make some early dinner.
These were on the kitchen table, left over since our meeting the night before, so I take one while I wait for my food to cook. Yum.
I watch True Blood while I eat.
When True Blood is over and I'm done eating, I go troll hunting on LotrO with Jess and Danielle for a few hours.
Shortly after they go to bed in Australia, I log off too.
I update my schedule and get organized for class.
Do some uni work reading.
I get a cup of coffee and finish writing the chapter of my fic. I post it to my writing journal and tweet the link to vanishing_act18 ♥
This becomes my last song of the day, because by now I'm tired.
At 10:51pm, I give up.
It's bedtime.
