fit.honda.com is the webpage for the car, and i'm getting the "sport" edition. it gets 38mpg and the commercials show that you can fit a llama in the back seat! i should be getting the money this week, but i hear there's a decent waiting list to get one of these so i'm not sure when i'll actually have the car in my possession. i've gone to test drive them, but the dealerships i've tried have been sold out!! i've been inside them though, and i really like them a bunch.
and yeah, paying for it in cash straight up so i don't have to worry about making payments. this money was supposed to be a down payment on a house some day, so i'm actually pretty bummed about spending it, but i don't think i can go much longer without having a new car. especially since this new job is in long beach!
my grandpa's not dead yet, so no grandpa's car. that car was stupid anyway, it was just kind of something to hold me over until i got a car i actually enjoyed, and the honda fit is something i'll actually enjoy.
haha, i'm not sure what the deal with the name thing was!! maybe she was trying to protect her son's identity? i'm pretty sure Elf Millie is crazy, so i wasn't about to confront her about lying about her son's name during our first interview. the craigslist ad clearly said watching her "14 year old son, Max" and i've been emailing her asking her questions about Max, then at the interview she kept saying Francisco. sorry if that's confusing and worded poorly, but the bottom line is that i'm just as confused as you!
i'm moving to long beach (hopefully) as soon as possible. my parents say they're kicking me out august 1st (yeowza!) so i'm probably going to start crashing more and more in long beach starting around then. hopefully have a house by september? not sure who i'm moving in with or anything, but i got a couple solid leads!
