i believe in an understanding of presence. there is a unique lacking in communication on the phone or online, it's actually rather annoying while on the lacking side. in the presence of someone, you do not rely on the words or the sound, but you can feel what they mean and desire for you to understand. all this is my reasoning for an increase in a personal despisal of all forms of communication besides talking in person. not that i've just noticed this, but that my attention has been drawn through certain circumstances.
that's probably the most i've actually written on here in quite some time.
