No one is ever completely happy. We all think something could be improved. We all have our complaints.

Whether it’s because you don’t feel you’re being treated right.

“Why won’t anyone tell me what’s going on?” The patient asked. “Why am I getting worse?”

Or someone doesn’t have what you want.

“He doesn’t have the insurance to pay for the medication. I don’t have to treat him,” Dr. Bob Kelso stated.

Or you don’t think someone else is being treated fairly.

“Oh that’s right Bobbo, you only care about the people with money. A poor guy walks in here, and all you do is provide a bed for him to die in,” Dr. Perry Cox snarled.

Or you feel you’re getting the short end.

“Just because not everyone that walks in here had a lot of money to pay for ridiculous procedures or can donate to this hospital, I get a pay cut?!” Carla yelled to the piece of paper in her hand.

Or you think you’re paying the consequences for someone else’s actions.

“Just because Carla throws a rant, my schedule gets switched?” Turk stared at Todd in disbelief.

Or you loose something you had planned for month.

“So Turk got his schedule changed and now we all can’t go see Arcade Fire,” Elliot told me.

I didn’t really listen, for I was staring at an empty bed, that was occupied this morning.

And I wondered what life would be like if we didn’t always have a complaint.
