this has been one of the most entertaining performances i've ever watched in a long, long time. thank you, arrested development, for introducing me to this awesome physical comedy / acrobatic display / digital-movement fusion / musical performance. right from the truly hilarious announcements, up till the scripted encore at the end - i was enthralled and entertained for the whole 110 minutes. it was such a great balance of spectacle and comedy - well actually a LOT of physical comedy - and a little bit of improv too. the audience interaction was insane too. i mean, how often do you see a whole theater full of people (READ: those uppity, prudish theater types) doing fist pumps and shaking their booties. and it was so recent and pop-culture-referency: lady gaga references, ipad references... in fact there was some subtle message about technology and how its affecting us in our modern society, but i was too busy enjoying myself to read into it more. i'm gonna start trawling for youtube videos to relive the awesome, but EVERYONE and ANYONE should watch this if they can. best $25 spent on a impulse ever.
