Some Sense of Security
It's been ages since I've writtena real blog entry. The last time was around June right after the enrollment hullabaloo.So many things have just been happening and I tell you second year has justbeen so far awesome; everything’s just right in place.
It’s the state of being welladjusted to the college life and just knowing the ropes on how things work. Youjust automatically know when to be serious, when to be fun, when to work, whento study, when to party or just play. And you just know you’ve already got anawesome set of friends who’d be there when you’ve got free time or adventuresin store.
Through out the years in Androterms, August has always been referred to as a boring month where absolutelynothing happens. Well maybe not absolutely. There's of course the Buwan of Wikathing going on and the Quezon City day. But besides that, the UPCAT or Abu's birthday is the only thing that wouldbe considered exciting about August.
This year, 5 whopping weeks havebeen dedicated to the month of August but surprisingly they have been nothingbut boring. Acads have been hectic thanks to BA 99.1 and Econ 102 wherein eyebags are the “in” thing, Bacchus cans are a must in your house hold and an erraticsleeping pattern is your greatest accomplishment. Thanks to the great design oflife (well for August at least), just when you think that your life has beenhell enough, the week just ends with an awesome Friday spent either at some hotspot in Katip, an exciting birthday or a sexy event. And there are just thosethings in between like eating in the Persian place in the University Arcade,joining the Schoolympics for Badminton, a visit to Beluga, SC adventures andmarketing moments.
Here’s a toast to the carpoolwith the UP constituents, bowling classes, Ever Gotesco adventures, KAL liblovin’, bicho-bicho addiction mania, hula-hoop mania, crazy love-teams, AOSendeavours, CWTS cuts, Sir Canlas Exams!!!, No Umbrella moments slashBasang-basa sa ulan moments, Coastnet&Cantina Fridays, Isaw y Carcinogenfood trips, bangag-sabaw-masakit ang puson ko mode, UP JMA events and parties.
Alin, Teresa and Lui. I reallylove you guys. :) First sem has been too good to be true thanks to you three! Woot . :)
Commercial: Right now I’ve gotthe chicken pox and maybe I’ve infected a whole lot of people (I’m sorry. Alin and I were demonstrating the AOS handshake pa to a bagillion peeps today. Haha!) but thisis some well-timed blessing from God. I’m exempted from the BA 99.1 quiztomorrow (just got to show the Medical Certificate when I come back) and I’mnot allowed to take the dreaded 102 Exam till I’m well (which means I have moretime to study). Sadly though, I want to be in school tomorrow --- I want totake the quiz and take the exam on Friday AND enjoy my Friday night at Katip. Ohwell. Time to be a home-buddy. :) Woot woot.
