[ There's a package, neatly wrapped up just to make sure nothing will happen to it during the space-time travel. Inside is a rather thick book, a recent reprint of a volume from the 'complete works' series of
Carl Jung. The volume's title seems to be '9: The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious; Aion: Researches into the Phenomenology of the

After our first encounter with demons and Persona we haven't made much progress either, so I decided to at least research the use of the concept persona in studies. Even though it's never quite defined like our sort of Persona it is still informative about what might be their nature. Aside from that we have run into a dead end too.
[ ... Derp. How do you explain the internet to people way back into the past. ] Nowadays we have an extensive international network of information called the internet accessible by nearly anyone in any place as long as they have a computer. [ In the marigin 'an electronic device' is added next to computer as an afterthought. ] It's the method preferred by more people nowadays.
We found out about the effects of these mailboxes by accident - during the cleaning week someone came up with the idea to leave notes to the rumoured ghosts in this attic in the mailboxes, but they disappeared. I think it was only a little while later that we had a.. quite scary run-in with demons that caused our Persona to awaken. I can't say it was exactly pleasant. [ If this wouldn't be a letter, there would be a lot of flailing and nervosity involved with that passage. Luckily she seems slightly calmer through letters. ]
Most sincerely,

You started off in the right place, though. I suppose now it's just a matter of luck and patience until we reach some sort of break.
[A limitless info network instantly accessible from anywhere, and by anyone? Congratulations. You have just described perhaps THE BEST THING EVER, in Theo's mind.] That's astounding, and infinitely useful. When did this come about? I haven't been able to get a clear answer about much of the technology you no doubt have floating around, you see. I did receive some print-outs about an airplane created by the military in your time, but it does little to show how everyday life has progressed. [and the last time he brought it up? Anthony instead asked if he was gay. He doesn't even want to think about it anymore.]
And so we ended up finding your note on our end and leaving a reply. [Again with the attic cleaning crew. He can't escape it even with an 80-year difference.]
I feared that was the sort of situation you had been hinting at. My condolences. If it helps, Miss Richards, you seem to be handling this admirably. I haven't met many young women who would take it upon themselves to throw themselves into research like you have after coming across demons.

Dear Mister Bianchessi,
Thank you very much for your compliments-- I don't think I entirely deserve it though. This is just my way of contributing to all of this since there is no way I can just fight like everyone else. [ There's a tiny scratched out pair of letters after that period, as if she wanted to continue on but didn't. Honestly she didn't want to suddenly start about her woes of life to someone she had only just started writing letters to. ] The compliments are.. very appreciated, nonetheless.
Unfortunately I'm not able to find extensive information on our modern time's technology this quickly, but I was able to get this for now. It's an advertisment for notebooks, portable versions of the 'computers' I described in the previous letter. They are very convenient. I will try to find something a little bit more descriptive in the future, but for now these pictures should at least tell you something. Everything has advanced quite nicely in eighty years, after all.
Most sincerely,
Heather Richards

Miss Richards,
You're perfectly welcome. You're finding answers, by far the most sensible and helpful thing you can do at this point.
[…why hellooo there poor self-esteem and timid personality, won't you turn out useful. He'll be sure to keep you in mind, Heather. :D ]
Please, don't rush yourself - when you have time. This goes beyond "nice", and I'm sure I'll be thrilled when you do send it.
