Summer in the City

I said, GODDAMN!

This summer’s much more relaxed, low-key and enjoyable. Living with Drayton and spending all moments at one another’s side, accordingly. Back to NYU in the fall taking the normal classes, and learning something other than the goddamn theory of theatre (which, sure, is valid and great and all, but give me some comp lit and econ or something). As you can imagine, the ‘rents are thrilled that I’m going back, as they should be, as I am. CP isn’t THRILLED, still thinks there’s better options out there, which, hey, I agree. But I’m not going three and a half years to piss off now and not get that fucking diploma. I’ve had the needed break, what more can I ask for?

West Coast/East Coast living is the ever-loving way to be. NY ain’t over yet, but almost. Ready to move back once we turn over a little more cash and can afford to live in the city like one is meant to live in it. The starving student/artist is a novelty that wears off after a few months. Doing much better now, which makes going back to scraping by unacceptable.

However, looking forward to getting back into the community. Like, wow, these are what college students and young adults look like? So pretty, let me touch. Be good to me, NYU, and I’ll be good to you.

Got plans tonight?
