Updating because Katie sent me a nudge

however, I still cannot view any of my friends entries (while logged in) and the only reason I am being able to update is through the link that the livejournal nudge thing gave me to update. Once I am logged in, my livejournal is useless. I have tried to view my friends entries for days, but as soon as I log in, I can't do anything, it all comes up
