Hush as Rain

Jun 17, 2011 17:36

 it rains gently
in this yellow cast
sound flowing across this rocky land
the low surssuration
cooling this heated mind
calming this buried panic
this hushing that comes as the breath of above
strikes the palate of this soft earth
a inimitable mother comforting a fretful babe

eyes distracted by the pastel mobile of glowing clouds
we quieten down
and watch.
