My computer is going a bit slow at the moment....
Opening files like Word or Excel takes up I think at least 20 seconds or even more...o__O And since I need to move this computer all the way up to my dorm, and that it'll be officially mine by then, we just thought it would be nice to have it all reorganized, and, perhaps make it run quicker.
Got someone to look it for me (kinda like a computer-doctor), and he said that it's highly likely that I've got some nasty viruses in serveral files, which, by the way, can't be detected by Norton Antivirus, and that's why the computer has slowed down.
According to them, my computer's got locked or what they say 'kidnapped' by some advertisers, either domestic or foreign ones, and so everytime I open up an Internet Explorer Window, there are always some pop-ups, like advertises or search engines that offer no help but only mess up my window system. They can be very annoying after serveral times of keep closing them. >"<
So the best solution? Need to get my computer all reloaded and re-format (the current proportion is 70 GB for hard drive C and 10 for drive D, can you belive that? =.=), including all the softwares and programs. That means, I will lose all my files if I don't prepare copies for that. To prevent this 'disaster' to happen, I've already burned some files in a CD, which of course all my *precious* LOTR and HP pictures are included. But when it comes to making some copies for my media files, it turned out that the software doesn't support format like wma, mpeg, avi, rm, mov, or any files with images. In short, it only supports those with only sounds such as mp3. Meaning? That about 90% of my media files can't be copied into a CD.
Looks like the only option would have to be reluctantly giving up those LOTR, Harry POtter and many other interviews, trailers, shows, and performances that I've been collecting and keeping in store for a very long period of time -- the very last thing I wanna do. @.@
Saying good-bye to my media files. x__x
