mmkay fine update

Jul 25, 2007 04:08

I heart my laziness.. anyway, update on my uber-fabulous weekend of joy! :D or quick update of trip, whichever~~ actually, don't remember what i wrote about before, so.. will skim through last couple of weeks.

Spent a week in B/CS. Mainly ALOT of drinking with Doug, i swear it was entirely therupetic. Jell-o shots on prescription :) Although after a week of that, I was almost sick of the jell-o *gasp* but I am now a fabulous jell-o shot maker, so i guess something came out of it :P Also some hanging out with robert and a bunch of other cephieds, twas terrible fun to see everyone, even if lance has really disgusting eating habits. (note to self: just don't sit next to him anymore, we should be fine, will also save ears) Ted~ if you want to meet a guy that talks more than me, is louder than me, and actually usually more hyper than me, in a huge, blonde, weightlifter type way, go see Lance. You'll think I'm amazing after that :P

Took a bus to Corpus Christi. bus ride from hell. The trip to wherever it was we transfered was fine but once i actually got on the bus to Corpus.. bus driver from hell. He almost didn't even let us onto the bus (there were about four of transferring over), he just kinda glared at us, then finally decided to let us on, one at a time. and told us where to sit. almost split up the married couple that had transferred with me, I think he did, they just asked people to switch seats with them. I was told to sit right behind his seat so I got a great view of him organizing tickets and papers, while driving. also sending text messages while driving and trust me, he really wasn't a good driver to began with. Ghoultown and my headphones saved me from his mariachi music. And lets not even get into his random ass stops to .. I don't know what. He'd stop the bus, close the doors, and go away. We'd see him talk to someone, then come back on the bus. One girl tried to get off for a cigarrette and he just gave her a nasty look. Finally made it to where Chris picked me up.

Spent the week with him, alot of sitting around and relaxing actually, since he was usually at work, but it was cool. His room mate has an absolutely adorable pit bull puppy that I played with (or was used as his toy, not sure about that disctinction actually :P) We did go out during the weekend, were supposed to meet a bunch of his friends at a bar, apparently bunch of friends turned into one guy, but eh, he was nice. Really nice in fact. When he found out i disliked country (a fact I still make fun of Chris for for forgetting) he left the huge country bar with live band that we were at and went to another club. with much better music. It was actually alot of fun, me and his friend attempted to make chris talk to this adorable girl right behind most of the time then i got both the guys to dance, yay white boys :P this was already posted i believe.
Went to watch Chris play a baseball game. worked on an eeyore cross-stitch actually. there was very little actual watching of the game until the rain made me put my stitching away.
Also went to a comedy club with him and some people that he works with. Two comedians from LA, may have posted about this before, and a ridiculously funny jamacian sounding heckler. Barely understood a word he said, but he was really nice (from Chris' work)
Drove up the next day to Killeen, Chris proceeds to pass out and I had gotten a call on the way in to go out that night, so me being me, decided it was a fabulous idea.

So a friend and I decided to go to the new goth club nearby. For those of you who know this area, this is a ridiculously exciting outbreak. So started getting dressed as soon as I got back home, (that convo with my dad went something along the lines of, Hi dad!! I missed you!! yay home! okay, going out soon, muaw!~~) man, i win the fabulous daughter award.. also got to talk to zach for the first time in forever, which was exciting, although all he got out of the deal was listening to me prattle about clothes. hehe. Anyways, the club, area 51 is absolutely fabulous. It's small, and their still buidling their client base and trying to get their name out their, but I think its cozy. The owner is amazingly nice and talks to everybody, and their are few enough people in their that its easy to start conversations and meet people. Almost didnt lose a game of pool, which is awesome for me. played two games, one against ted, who I was their with, and I would have so won that game.. stupid scratch on the stupid 8-ball.. gar.. and one against quiet boy that I met there.. okay, by boy i mean guy both bigger and older than me.. eh.. that game lasted forever but i only embarrased myself minimally, so I'm quite happy >.<
O, and the chicken dance. that dance can stop the entire club apparently. All but I think three people were up on the dance floor dancing to that. Will still remain up there as one of the most amusing sights from my life.
Ihops after, where i got to see firsthand the reason I will not go to most of the other clubs in the area.. bagh.. people, realize that clothing comes in different sizes. and i would have loved to see the guy who was sitting next to us actually attempt to rave (the one who said that dancing to techno requires no sense of rhythm.. uh huh.. )

Then the trip to dallas!! whoop dallas!! Completely did not happen as planned, but was fabulous nonetheless. Drove up their Saturday with two friends (Chris had left early to make it to the baseball game). Checked into a hotel room, I attempted to put on fishnets without losing my mind, the guys decided I was crazy and decided to let the crazy girl do her own thing and waited while i ran around frantically trying to get ready :P Got to the lizard lounge at about ten thirty or so and stayed till close. Was an absolutely fabulous time. I got told I was hot!! *eep!* by this absolutely prettyful lady while i was dancing.  i was excited and happy :D, apparently i didn't look like an idiot! was also many more fascinatingly interesting people that night. Panty shot who ran up to me and michael when were outside getting air. She was there from nebraska or somesuch because she had a court date from being caught with half a pound of weed. wow.. me and michael went back inside..  :P  more dancing. even more dancing. pretty shiny lights and more dancing. happiness. o, and my friend that i went with, ted, meets up with this adorably amazingly cute costa rican girl and they hit it off fabulously (best of luck with that btw dear) and the gay boy has this cute girl hitting on him and rubbing all over him (o the joys of drugs) while i get stalked by evil scary black man!?!? really, what the hell is wrong with this world?!?!?! grumble.. o well, i had fine, dancing in my own little world, that was as far from scary man as i could manage :P
We left at close, ended up eating breakfast/dinner/late night/early morning snack at this resturant right across from the hotel (gawd, i love fruit), everyone crashed, i attempted to write (not a solid goal in the middle of the night with no light.. ) everyone actually managed to get up later, before noon no less, minus gay boy, and we got ready to leave. Chris headed out early on his own again and me and the rest of the guys decided food was an amazing idea. so, original plan, food at mall, then leave. Plan became, found out about ducati race-viewing at mall, decide to meet up with cute girl from last night, eat with her, then go to ducati place, watch race, then leave. actually followed that plan, whoot. also discovered why my phone is so absolutely amazing. i heart google maps :)
came back to killeen, decided yesterday was the day of rest and no walking, and am now finally updating. it was a ridiculous long post, but hey, i tried to lj cut it and there was no dive-bomb of thought and debate in my mind. I think i really needed this weekend, and i'm happy. Thanks to everyone that made it happen, i heart all of you >.
