I'm cross posting this everywhere, so I'm sorry if you see it more than once. Casey is an awesome girl I met at Faire. I don't know her well, I've only seen her twice, but I know a few of her close friends, so I get updates on her condition. She has a rather aggressive cancer and is facing a possible amputation of her leg in the near future. We're trying to win her a trip to New York to be pampered. Two days ago she was in first place by a lot. Today she is in second by a lot. We're not sure how the other girl got so many votes so quickly, but we're fighting back.
