We do this walk called Relay for Life every year during April and I usually walk for several people, i've only ever lost two people in my family to cancer (that I recall) but many teachers and friends who've impacted me as a person either had or died of various types of cancer. So when I saw the tie, the only thing I thought of was honoring those people.
