Internet's back
Well the Verizon router issue was solved yesterday. Turns out there was a power outage in the building. I've also been upgraded to the new 3Mbps/384Kbps service. The extra 1.5Mbps is very noticable and very nice. :P The next speed upgrade for me will probably happen when Verizon brings their FIOS service (fiber optic to the home) to the area. I'm planning on getting their 15Mbps service. It'll be like $80 a month but it'll be worth it for me. The prices might drop by the time it gets around here anyway. Of course, this country could also try rolling out the new ADSL 2 like England. Then I'd upgrade to an 8Mbps DSL line.
I do believe another external hard drive and a dual layer DVD burner are in my PC upgrade future. Never hurts to have more storage. :P I'll probably get the DL DVD burner first. Then save up some money for a few months and just get the biggest external drive available when I buy. A nice 400-500GB external drive would hit the spot very nicely. So, guess that's about it. I finally hit the half-way point to level 43 on Pyrolass. Mainly thanks to a nice person who wanted me to be a PL bridge for their friend. Stuff he was killing kept giving me 1,169-2,635 xp/kill. So in closing, huzzah for 3Mbps and 5 dots to level 43! :P
