Back from the swamps , New orleans trip
Chris And I are back from out trip to Louisiana . It was hot but fun. We stayed with my mother and her two greyhounds .
On Friday we went to New Orleans .We drove around the Garden District ,and then parked and explored the French Quarter .Sometimes I forget about the strange alien beauty in that place . All concrete and brick with tiny jungle like gardens on the balconies ,
And tiny details that if you aren't careful you'll just never see .
Yes we did some touristy things
We wandered in galleries, talked to artists and of course ate more . No trip to Louisiana is complete with out massive amounts of food .
On Saturday we went to my grandmothers 90th birthday .
