I can not take any more stress
I had to rush Basil ,my bunny ,to the vet today. I went to groom him and when I flipped him onto his back I saw that he had a huge swollen feces encrusted matte of fur lump. I panicked and called the vet . And then while sobbing hysterically I called Juel and asked her to bring me to the vet because I was too upset to drive .
Basil is ok. turns out that during the two weeks I was at Juels Ryan never changed his litter and h Basil became stressed out and had diarrhea . This in combination with it being fall and He's shedding caused him to develop and very large matte of fur over his anus. This got infected . The vet had to clean and shave his butt and while doing that they discovered fleas. So once i got home I treated everyone for fleas, scrubbed down Basil's cage with bleach and will have to give him antibiotics for ten days .
I really can't take any more stress .
Now I need to go pick up more bunny litter so I can keep his cage super clean and he needs some new toys. My poor bare assed bunny .
