vegas left me broke. so broke. so broke.
but that's what vegas does right? i found a new liquor. it's my new love. now if only i could find a way to afford a bottle. or to afford to eat or drink for the next two weeks.
my long-lost great aunt Nancy and great Uncle Jerry have invited my family to Thanksgiving dinner. It's so odd. I haven't seen them in like ten years. They live down in the LA area, the closest of any of my father's family. By two thousand miles or so. But we see them the least often. Weird huh? I wonder what kind of dog they have now. They owned Keela, the first dog that ever didn't scare the shit out of little me. Husky. Slim. Black and white. Silky. Beautiful. She had the Sammy syndrome. One eye. Well, one working eye. One of her eyes didn't have a pupil, but otherwise it was a normal blue husky eye. Weird huh?
My mom has agreed to lend me Black Friday shopping money. Wee. Good thing, too. If any of my family wants presents, then I better get the best deals ever or no one is getting anything. Sorry. Am broke. Mentioned above.
I think we, as in "We, the Homies," should have some sort of Black Friday Feast. Like a potluck. Our own Thanksgiving feast. Anyone down? We should establish off beat traditions now, in our mid twenties, that can live on into our old age. That way, even when we're all married/divorced with kids/shared custody, we still have our little traditions to hold us together.
So Potluck Friday Feast? Surely to include drinks? Anyone down?
