last night we hit all of the arabic nightclubs. i've never danced like i did last night. i love this culture so much. and i love that my culture allows me to take pieces of other cultures to make my own. i love you, arabic boys who dance with a 21,45,and 59 year old. i love you bellydance sistahs that pull us up to dance with you in restaraunts. i love you body for taking the abuse i give you day in and day out doing drills so i can be a better dancer.
i'd love to take any of you out if you ever wanted to come. it's better than any night new city could ever dream up. i can't wait until next saturday.
i've also started making actually costumes. i'm almost finished my first cabaret bra and half way done a tribal bra. soon i can actually call myself a seamstress.
