Lush Review
+ Porridge (Soap) - OH MY GODS!!! It's sweet, it's cinnamon-y, it's got bits of oatmeal in there...!!!! I just want to stay in the shower for hours when I use this soap. There are NO complaints here!!
+ Fresh Farmacy(Facial Cleanser) - A nice, light but powerful cleanser that has worked very nicely in toning down the rosey-ness of my face. I was very surprised by how well this one worked for keeping the redness away and for clearing up my skin.
+ UltraBland (Facial Cleanser) - This facial cleanser is a bit odd to use, as you feel like you're rubbing butter on your face.... and how in the world is BUTTER supposed to clean your face???? Well, once you rub off the UltraBland from your face with a cottonball, you find out exactly how well it works - FANTASTICALLY!! It gives you an extremely deep cleaning that you would not expect from an oily cleanser. I don't use it often, but when I do... I am just as surprised with it as I was the first time.
+ Whip Stick (Lip Balm) - All I have to say is that it's just oodles of Chocolate.. and how can anyone go wrong with that??!!?? It doesn't stay moist as long as Honey Trap, but it's still far and beyond many other lip balms that I've tried over the years. I will definately be putting this one into my arsenal.
+ Happy Hippy (Shower Gel) - When I first smelled this one, I didn't think it was something that I was ever going to like, but through the PTB (Powers That Be).. I found myself with a small bottle. So, giving it a shot (as I always will do with Lush!).. I find that the citrus smell lingers very nicely and is fantastic for waking me up in the morning. This is one that I would be willing to buy on my own.
+ American Cream {Revisited} (Hair Conditioners) - The first time I used this (and reviewed it), I was happy, but not all that happy with it. I thought it didn't condition deep enough. Well, I suppose things change... and I think it was my hair on this one! I have found the same light smell wonderful, as well as how it leaves my hair feeling "light", but I have also found that it conditions quite deeply and leaves my hair feeling stronger after I've used it for a couple of days in a row. I think I will be adding this one to my rotation.
