Are you playing a character or just a general jump out and scare people type thing? If it's a character then I need to know what the character is (I know, captain obvious right?). If it's just jump out and scare someone then hit up Wal-mart and grab any style black robe with a hood and a half mask and your good to go. That's what we do at the houses I work at in Salem. If you want makeup ideas check out the Living Dead Dolls website. I used one of them as my character last year. I had flaking skin and black veins all over my face and then horns I got at KRF on my head.

Honestly, I can do whatever I want!! (Joys of being housemates with the guy that's putting it all together!! :) )
Although, I like the flaking skin and black veins idea.... *hrmm* I would need some make-up tips for the flaking skin, though....

Flaking skin, wicked easy. Tissue paper and liquid latex. Put some of the latex over a patch of skin, crumble up a piece of tissue paper and put it over the latex spot then put another layer of latex over the paper. It looks like wrinkled skin which works as well, but for the flaking, just pull tiny pieces of the tissue paper away from your skin without removing the entire piece. One thing to watch out for is the latex hurts like a bitch when you peel it off and it's over a spot that has hair on it. You have to do it like you're pulling off a band-aid or duct tape....

will do!!!! Have fun and don't forget, the joy of working in a haunted house comes not from scaring the little children, but from scaring the 300lb football players. They scream like girls!!!!!!

Oh yeah if you guys need props or anything a good website is nightmare factory, they've got tons of stuff.

Well, given that this is being set up in a bar.. I doubt that I'll be scaring any little kids. *teeheehee*

And thank you!!

Would you buy the "scar" liquid latex for this??

any type will work, but I find the easiest to use is Mehron Liquid Latex. Mehron is an wesome brand of make-up and is carried mostly everywhere. A theatrical makeup shop will have it, but you're not gonna find it at CVS.

What if you were trying to cover nipples and areola?? (No, this is not for the same project....)

That requires a trip to the local sex shop. You can get flesh colored liquid latex, but the only place I know who sells it is Hubba Hubba in Boston. I know there is a way to die the latex to any color you want, but I'm not sure how. I'll ask the professor at school who does all of our FX make-up and see if she knows.

Yey for you coming on the 15th!!!!!!
