Hung Parliament - a cynics view.

Okay, so it's looking like a hung Parliament. I'm struggling to see why this is such a bad thing - especially the way the markets are reacting: maybe now is a good time to invest?

You see, a well hung piece of meat is better than one that's not been hung. And I'll leave the other euphemism for you to work out yourself...

No, seriously, we all moan & gripe about un-thought-through legislation being pushed through by a majority government. I'm personally of the opinion that a hung Parliament won't be in a position to push through as much crap, and that this country has enough laws already - lets try getting rid of some of the crap and properly apply what exists, rather than sticking more patches onto the leaky tub that is the law. And a hung Parliament won't be as able to push through as much, so less laws (and more debate on what there is) will be a better thing. Hell, looking at it, the less a Parliament can do in its term, the better!

Anyway, people will generally make things work as well as they can. It won't be as bad as the scare-mongering pundits predict...
