Oh yeah, Futurama time.
Futurama's second DVD movie came out today...and I already bought it. What do you expect from a guy who has all four seasons and the first movie on DVD?
Yep, the movie involves a tentacle monster-planet from another universe that invades our own.
And if the first thing you think of is "tentacle rape," you're not too far off. What's funny is that in the commentary, one of the commentators said that the scene they were watching reminded him of "really scary Japanese anime porn." To which Maurice LaMarche replied "Just this scene?"
Screencap of that scene is here. Warning: Possible spoiler? Of course, I enjoed it. It IS Futurama, after all. Honestly, the plot wasn't as tightly weaved as Bender's Big Score, but overall, it was good, and funny (and that's important).
Speaking of Futurama, I was bored at work on Sunday, so I watched Comedy Central. Guess what was on.
Honestly, if it was anything else, I wouldn't have watched, becasue I'm paranoid that a late-night grocery shopper will come and complain. But now that I know that we have Comedy Central, I now have to see if we get Cartoon Network. I'm going to try to watch Bleach there on Saturday, since it's never streamed online.
