in other news:
since i'm at the apple store downtown, i might as well update. kind of a lot has been going on, i've been pretty productive which is what happens when i'm sober and far from the nearest public internet terminal.
0. i moved to the USF/panhandle/anza vista/western addition neighborhood. the neighborhood doesn't really have a name. i'm not as far north/west as USF and several blocks north of the panhandle, but several blocks west of the western addition. it's that weird neighborhood around masonic and fulton that nobody can ever figure out. it's pretty quiet and i like it.
1. even though i do like my neighborhood, i'm moving to petaluma in june. i'm gonna do the LPT program at santa rosa junior college and become a psychiatric nurse. amy walmsley & i are discussing moving into the same apartment building (separate apartments, i'd go NUTS living with her ass). it'll be kind of like melrose place, if melrose place were in sonoma county.
2. i'm growing a mullet and i have muttonchop sideburns. i'm trying to bribe my housemate (hairdresser) to do something with it. i like the way it looks on the top and on the sides, i just want to cut the back v. short and trim up the sideburns. she's busy a lot, though, and the last time i tried to cut my own hair i gave myself prada bangs.
3. i'm still clean and sober ! 82 DAYS ! honestly, though, i think i'm going to start smoking weed again sometime soon. i'm gonna lay off the booze and the pills but, damn, i miss smoking weed.
4. i'm having that biopsy surgery thing next week at san mateo medical center. my brother is of the mind that i am going to croak from this surgery and is leading his church (he's a pastor now) through a bunch of prayers. i looked up the patron saint of kidney disease in some book, but i forget who it is. he thinks praying to the saints is a mortal sin, anyways.
5. best song so far of 2k6 is "the fallen" by franz ferdinand.
6. i still don't have glasses. i'm holding out until i get my backpay and can afford these really amazing $250 prada frames. i put the frames on hold and i will have them.
