The world changes
Today was my last day in the office I have worked IN for six years. Despite my contempt for my managers and the organisation it was very strange leaving at the end of the day. I have had good times there and I have made freinds at least some of whom I will be in touch with after leaving.
It was also nice to be appreciated by the people I have worked with and helped over the years and I think I will be missed by them. I sort of hope everything falls apart in the near future except for the fact that I like most of the people who would have to fix the mess.
Really this is the first time I have ever left a job. Last time I moved from one junior job at Education Leeds to the more senior one I have been in for six years, and the job really transfered with me so I didn't have to start again.
This time I will be starting from scratch in a new job, in a new place with completely new people and instead of Knowing Everything , I will know nothing .
So three weeks on uneployment and then the great blue yonder of the NHS
