Lost a good friend yesterday.

Family friend Rose died yesterday at 110, just months before her 111th birthday. She was my father's nanny when he was growing up in the 30's, and she was a helluva lady. Her life encapsulated an entire century, and it blows my mind. 1900-2010. She loved God and I know she's with him right now. I suppose I'm slightly jealous that she's up there with my dad right now, but I'm sure he's happy to see her.

We lost an amazing woman today, but heaven gained a great one. I'll miss ya Rose, keep an eye on my dad up there.
