When Gideon was born they did a hearing test, which showed that one side was just fine, and the othe side was a bit clogged. So they made a note to set us up for a hearing test at 3 months.

If it's any consolation, Bethany was born in normal pre-covid times, and spent a lot of time in her first year around extended family, friends, and church people, but at 10 months she would also scream a lot if anyone other than us tried to hold her. So I think it's just a developmental stage, rather than a long-term problem, and Gideon will grow out of it.
